New record option is not enabled on form. What's wrong?

I just created my first form in Access. I entered test data and saved the
record. It will not allow me to add a new record. The properties and the
settings are enabled to add and edit data. I am sure it is something very
simple to fix. Are there any experienced users that can help?
 
When you say, "properties and the settings are enabled to add and edit data,"
do you mean that Allow additions and Allow edits are set to yes?
Also, when you say it will not allow you to add a new record, are you
presented with a blank form or do you see the current records but no blank
one. Have you selected the Add record button in the navigation buttons at
the bottom of the screen?
