New Raid Confusion P4P800-E

New to RAID. ASUS manual not clear to newbies.
I have a new system with everything in it new. I'm confused as to the
drives setup I need to configure to make a RAID 1 box. I have 2 SATA's
attached to SATA_RAID1 & SATA_RAID2. I want to have a separate IDE
drive that contains just the OS. Where do I put it? Primary IDE or
PRI_PAID? The manual says 2 IDE's on PRI_RAID and 2 SATA's on
SATA_RAID1 & SATA_RAID2. When complete I'm expecting C:\ to contain the
OS and the 2 Mirrored SATA's to appear as D:\ or whatever. Is my
thinking correct on this? I need all the advice I can get on this>
