New Pc Woes

P

Paul Martin

i have just got a new PC and have installed frontpage on it and moved my
websites to this new PC.

On opening a page in design view I can't see the "buy now" buttons. These
are HTML code added by "insert - web component - advanced controls -html"

These normally show in design view as yellow square icons with a ? in them.

The still show on the old pc, and the code is there in code view. The actual
buttons show in preview and if published.

My guess is that I havent got some option selected in the set up on the new
PC but I cant for the life of me see where. Anyone any suggestions?

That's exactly what I did.
As I said all the code is there in code view and the buttons show up in
preview the icons just aren't visible in design view so you cant see where
you've but them or where they are when trying to place stuff around them.

It just looks like somewhere in the view or options menu there should be a
check box for "show html as icon" or something like that but i am damned if
i can see it and with both machines on next to each other so i can compare
ticked options i cant see a difference

i looked in Tools and the settings features there .... brain dead here...
sorry...
perhaps mine is just not working right try the show all option I'm sure it
was that
