New Patch provided in MS03-039

I received the message today from Microsoft to install
the latest patch "security bulletin ms03-039" on Windows
XP/Home Edition. However I have another patch "security
bulletin ms03-026" installed already. I hear the patch in
MS03-039 supersedes the patch in ms03-026. Does that mean
I have to UN-install the patch in ms03-026 to install the
patch in ms03-039 ? Or go ahead and install the patch in
ms03-039 that will replace ms03-026 ?

Did you receive an email with an attachment? If so, don't touch
the attachment and delete the email. This is anything but no
patch whatsoever.

However I have another patch "security
bulletin ms03-026" installed already. I hear the patch in

patch in ms03-039 ? Or go ahead and install the patch in

On searching for "MS03-039", Microsoft's websites should be able
to inform you on that.

Greetings --

No, you don't need to remove the earlier patch before installing
the latest one. You can go ahead and install the new patch. The
Control Panel will show both patches installed.
