Within the last month, I noticed a new option at the very bottom of my
right-click context menu. After the PROPERTIES option, there is
another divider bar, and then an option that says TERMINATE with a
little yellow ball with a blue "X" icon beside of its name. I have
tested it, and it seems to securely delete the file or folder to where
it cannot be recovered. It even gives a confirmation popup.
The problem is, I cannot find which program has added this. When the
program is running (for larger files and folders) it takes a few
minutes to run, and it shows the progress in the lower left hand corner
of the screen. The progress bar kinda reminds me of an older program,
but maybe I am mistaken.
Does anyone know what program this TERMINATE button could have come
from?
If not, does anyone here know where I can find the context entries so
that I can see exactly what its executing (so I can remove that
application manually if needed).
I have searched the entire registry for the word TERMINATE and the only
ones that came up seemed to have nothing to do with context menus.
Thanks!
