New object that does not appear!

Hi all!

Hopefully this is an easy one!

I used ADSI edit to create a new Container in Active Directory. The
problem it though that the object does not appear in AD Users and
Computers at all? If I move a user to this container using ADSI Edit
then the user account dissapears as well. I can access the user
account using FIND but not by browsing the AD.

Any ideas?
 
If you switch to Advanced view in ADUC, can you see the object then?

If so, check the showInAdvancedViewOnly attribute.
