New Mother board

I just installed a new mother board with a new CPU. I
now run at 2.2gig. When restarting window XP it went to
the safe mode screen. I can not start in safe mode or
normal mode. I then inserted my CD-Rom and allowed the
system to start on the CD. It does however when I ask it
to recover windows it wants for an Administrator
Password. I never gave the system one. So what do I
do. How can I recover windows with out reinstalling and
loosing EVERYTHING.

Ron;
You need to perform a Repair Installation to properly detect the new
hardware, no password is required:

A Repair Installation leaves all data intact, however Windows Updates
and Service Packs will need to be reinstalled.

Hmm. Chances are very good that the Admin password is <nothing>. As in
blank. No password.
