New Message display big - as if zoomed in?

Hi,

The most bizarre thing has suddenly started to occur with my Outlook 2003.
When I click on new message it opens a new message window on my screen
showing my signature as if it is a point size of 150 rather than the 10 that
it is. It is as if I am zoomed in really close on the new message. I have
checked the font and it is actually showing it as point 10. If I send the
email to myself it comes back looking fine.

Anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it?

is all text that big or just the sig?

are you using word and do you have the view of the document body zoomed?

Interestingly, the Zoom function on the new mail message is greyed out.

Ah, if I highlight my signature in the new message the zoom becomes enabled
and shows it at 500% - if I change this to 100% not only does nothing happen
but when I go back into zoom it has returned to 500%. I then went into Word
2003 and looked at my signature doc, higlighted the text in the doc and
tried zoom expecting it to show 500% but it showed the correct 100%.

So, still confused.

Odder still. I just created a new message and this time zoom was not greyed
out. I clicked on it and it was showing the same 500%. I changed it to 100%
and, voila, this time it worked. I have opened several new messages since,
close down Outlook and restarted it and now things are OK. Very odd.
