Hi,

I am using MS Outlook 2000 with Window XP. I hav check through all the
thread but none solve my problem.

The problem is that the new mail notification window/envelope does not
always pop up. May I know how to make sure the new mail notification
window/envelope appear every time a new mail arrive?

Thanks.

"Tools-> Options-> tab Preferences-> button E-mail Options...-> button
Advanced E-mail Options...-> option Show an envelope in the notification area"

I cannot see the option 'show an envelope in the notification area'
according to the step above in MS Outlook 2000.

It does always have the envelope shows on the bottom right (notification
area). But the problem I had was whenever a new mail arrive, a window should
be pop up stating "New mail has arrived. Yould you like to read it now?" This
window does not always pop up, it does pop up sometime and doesn't the other
time.

Is anyone know the problem?

I believe that message window only pops-up when mail is being delivered to
your default Inbox folder.

The mail was delivered to the default inbox folder, just that the pops-up
does not appear all the time.

Can you typify the messages for which it appears and which it doesn't? For
example, does it appear for messages received by one account but not
another?

I have try it on the same account and different account. The problem occurs
to both situations.
