I have just switched from POP to IMAP with Outlook 2003. I get a
notification of a new message in my Inbox but if a rule moves a message to a
folder I get no notification unless I actually click on the folder. Is there
any way I can get a notification if a message is moved to a folder.
Many thanks.

No - that is Outlook's design. You also do not get a notification using
POP3 or Exchange mail if the mail is moved by a rule.
