New install actualize error

Just Installed my utlimate OEM again (did some stupid thing and erased first
install)
After installing and activating.
Vista started to download some actualizations (16 i think), about 76 mb.
BUT once downloaded, did NOT install them.
At this point, there are NO actualizations INSTALLED (as far I know?)
and when I try to search them, non are available.
Does vista PRE install actualizations when installing?
Is something going wrong?
BTW, the poker is NOT available at all, previous install WAS available!!

Actualizations? Do you mean updates? What does the security center's
settings show for handling updates?
