New "Individuals" group added to Windows Messenger 4.7

I recently noticed that Windows Messenger 4.7 has added a
new group called "Individuals". This group cannot be
deleted. I'm just wondering if this group was
intentionally added by MS? Or was this done by some type
of spyware?

It's intentionally added on Microsoft's side and is part of some upgrading going on with the
service.
