My laptop has gone belly up and is giving a #001 -Fail error on it's BIOS HDD self test.

It is an HP Pavilion ze4718EA and on this sitE: http://www.drivemylaptop.co.uk/laptopInformation.aspx?l=2543

It shows the compatible HDD.

If the ST93012A (http://www.com-com.co.uk/9023/m/ST93012A.ihtml) is in it just now will the ED http://www.ebuyer.com/131287 fit and operate without any problems?

Cosmetically will the plastic front fit over it (with two screws to end) and make it look as if it hasn't been touched!

Thanks.

It looks like it should fit and work, the only difference is that the new drive is a bit faster. All 2.5" drives are the same size so you can just pull off the cover and re-fit it on the new one without any fear :)
