New Hard Drive, what's UP?

Hi Guy,

I’m not sure what’s going on and hoping you can help…

I got a new hard drive …. Formatted it and in Windows Xp did a disk to disk
image with Western Digitals software…

But the new drive will not load with the Vista without the original hard
drive.????

Why?

And it looks as if they only work in some sort of Raid thing… they car
always writing back and forth.

What do you think?

Op, PS... for some reason I can't post here from Vista???
 
Try using VistaBootPro to create the Vista MBR or your BIOS is set to the
wrong Priority. Check to make sure that the Vista boot file is on your
system drive.
