Since the Google toolbar recently updated itself, trying to do a search
results in IE6 crashing - anyone else seeing this ?

Using XP Pro SP2 / IE6

Thanks

Hi David :)

Try disabling the Google toolbar and see if that helps. If not, uninstall it
and then reinstall the earlier version if possible. If still no joy, do a
system restore to a date prior to the time the problem started if you have a
restore point for that period and see if that will resolve the problem.
Then see if you can set the Google toolbar so that it does not do
auto-updates.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response

I'd already worked out the Google bar was at fault

Can't find a way of setting Google to not auto-update - so will not bother
using it any more

Appreciate your input!
