I thought it might be a bit hefty for a printer driver at 9 megs, but then I
regained my reality and thought about the awesome bloat of the HP printer
drivers.</sarcasm>
That's probably because it includes the Ghostscript driver (7.2 Mb
download) or another postscript driver.
