New error Message

Now I am recieving a new error message when trying to access my network
places. The error message is "MSHOME is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this
server to find out if you have access permissions. The specified server
cannot perform the requested operation.

I am the system administrator of my home network. What am I doing wrong?? Is
it a security policy?

I can see the computers that are on my network when I click on My Network
Places. But when I try to view workgroup computers, I get the error message
that is listed. I recently upgraded to XP Pro Sp2. Is there a setting that I
need to look for? I set up the network with my network wizard. I can see the
3 computers by the files that I have shared. I just can not see the
computers in the workgroups. I set up 2 workgroups, OFFICE and MSHOME.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I use the hard drives from all
computers to access information. My music drive is for the entire house to
share off of my computer, to save hard drive space on the others.

Or provide some diagnostic data - "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all", from
each computer, can be very useful. Read this article, and linked articles, and
follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):

Chuck, I can't view the workgroup computers on my pc. That error message is
what I get while trying to view them. Please direct me to what needs to be
done.

Thank you, Jamie

This is a good start, Jamie. You can run "ipconfig /all" and "browstat status".
