New Environment Variable?

Barney

I have just discovered an environment variable that I
have not seen before called FP_NO_HOST_CHECK (It has been
assigned the value NO on my computer).

I applied Windows XP SP2 this week. Is SP2 responsible
for this variable? What does it mean? I can see only
two obscure references after 'Googling'.

Looks like it. I see it also on my WinXP SP2 computer.

A newsgroup post states that it comes from FP4AUTL.DLL (web server
extension):
