New email goes into deleted folder

Does any one know what causes most of my new emails to go into the deleted
folder? I have added to my contacts, added sender to safe senders list, add
senders domain to safe senders list, and add recipient to safe recipents
list - everything with the exception of my wife's messages goes into the
deleted folder.

You have either some add-in causing it or some rule causing it. If you scan
incoming mail with your antivirus program, that can cause it also. Start
Outlook once in safe mode (hold Ctrl when starting Outlook) and see if the
problem is affected. If so, that's fairly indicative of a misbehaving add-in.
