My old HD with Win2K has DQR timeout errors so I had to replace it. At the
same time I decided to upgrade to Win XP Pro. I used the wizard to transfer
files and settings, but how do I transfer my programs from the old (now D)
drive to the new C drive running WinXP Pro?

Any help is appreciated.

If the old drive has numerous errors on it you wouldnt want to transfer that
data,it would end up on the new drive. In xp,to transfer hd to hd,one would
run XCOPY from run.

I have exactly the same issue. And my old disk is fine except for not being
able to boot. I just want to use the wizard to move data from D drive to C
drive, but it seems to assume the data is on another computer.
