Outlook Express won't run under Vista. The replacement program is
Windows Mail.

Here's some information on moving the messages from Outlook
Express to Windows Mail:

I responded in your other thread "importing outlook express to vista."
In the future, kindly limit each issue to one thread.

I'm not sure what you mean by "download outlook express."
Outlook Express (OE) will not install on Vista. Vista's replacement for
OE is called Windows Mail. It has a different look and feel, but the basics,
such as account setup, are just like it was in OE.

It isn't clear to me how you expect to retrieve anything from a 'dead'
computer.
