New Computer

I am upgrading to a new computer using WindowsXP. My old computer is using
98SE. This is a home computer and I am not doing anything abnormal ie: web,
MS Works, photos,
word processing.
My question, what is the best way to transfer my old files to the new
machine with the least chance of screwups? Opinions
appeciated.

there are lots of transfer programs out there...get one.

and the answer is.........
open help and support window
search for transfer

see article "Using the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard"
might not have to buy anything and answer right there.
