I am seriously considering purchasing a HP A420N. It will come with the X-P
operating system. I have a few questions for you experienced X-P users, as
I will be stepping up from W-98SE. Will X-P have the drivers for my old,
but good HP 692C printer? The salesman at Circuit City told me I could use
my Matrox Dual Head PCI card and X-P would see the Matrox as the default
video card, even locate drivers for same, do you folks agree on that
statment? He also said the same would be true for my two older monitors.

Although I don;t specifically know about your printer I can tell you that
XP's
harware support is excellent! I can even use old ISA devices with no
problem!

If XP does not have the driver for your printer
you can always get it from www.driverguide.com
