I'm a paid subscriber to SKYPE and after my computer was hit by
lightning, I got a new computer with Windows Vista Home Basic. How do
I go about getting a fresh download of SKYPE that will work on my new
computer? Thanks!

From the Skype website?

You don't get Skype from Microsoft. The Skype web site would be a logical
place to try.

OK, assuming I can find a place to get a fresh download, can you tell
me if SKPE will work with Windows Vista Home Basic please? Thanks

Again, why don't you ask in the Skype news groups. Who would know better
about their program than they themselves?
