New, blank DB triggers security warning

Hi all,
I am getting very annoyed with this.
I create a brand new, blank DB (Access 2003) and as soon as I try to open
it, i get the security dialog.
There are no macros whatsover, no data, nothing in the file, yet I keep
getting the error message. Any idea why ? I do not want to put my security to
LOW level. But this is really annoying.
I have tried to create the file :
1) from the file menu in Access
2) by left clicking on the desktop and select NEW > MS ACCESS APPLICATION

and for each, everytime I try to open the DB, I get the "This file may not
be safe if it contains code...."
Any clue at what is worng here?
thanks in advance.

Good, then Sandbox mode is working like it should.

LOW level.

Me too! I've been diagnosed with lowmacsecurophobia. When I'm developing
databases I set my macro security level at medium whenever I fear I might
write unsafe expressions so I can be stopped *after* I've gone too far. When
I'm not suffering from it I leave my macro security level at low and use my
antivirus software to check anyone else's database before I open it, and I
*only* open databases from people I trust.

That's the way it is in Access 2003. You may have seen documentation
suggesting that message was displayed only if the file contained code,
macros, or action queries. I'm sure I remember seeing such documentation
somewhere, though I can't remember where. Perhaps that may have been the
original intention, but if so, it is not what happened.

The situation has improved somewhat in Access 2007, where you can designate
a folder as a trusted location and you will not see warnings when you open
files in that folder. (Obviously, you should not place files from other
sources in that folder unless you trust the source and/or you have checked
the file first.)
