Neverending Folders - A bug or feature?

If you click on one of the junction shortcuts (fake folders that point to
the new Vista locations) they just keep opening over and over again.
Eventually my computer locked up. Shouldn't clicking on the Application Data
shortcut take me to the AppData folder instead of opening a new instance of
itself? That doesn't make any sense.

I've been looking at it some more and discovered that the "Local
Settings/Application Data/" folders have a second copy of themselves inside,
and that copy has another copy, and so on to infinity. None of the other
junction folders have redundant copies of themselves inside.

Yup,
I've noticed that too.
App Data ad infinitum-lol
It's actually causing my AV lots of headaches;when scanning; not to
mention; a huge resource loss
