still debugging the blue screens after safe removal of a usb device.

Ran "verifier.exe" and set some parameters and saw that the drivers
usbui.dll and hccoin.dll are reported to be never loaded.
The MS explanation says that this happens if they do not exist (which they
do) or they are corrupt images...

I have a gygabyte 8inxp (ast bios they had) and recently applied the latest
..INF from intel; USB2.0 is now enabled --- and happens that hccoin.dll seems
to be for the controller.

Any hint if this is ok?

I am getting really lost to try to find what causes the blue screen...

TIA
luis

BTW:
when I use verifier.exe and then simply "reset" the settings and reboot,
during the shutdown process there is a *blue screen*... (and there was no
usb disk....)
arghhhh!!!!
