How hard is it, and what do I do, to integrate a macintosh laptop into a
windows file and printer sharing network?

The current "network" has a couple of winxp pro computers and a couple of
win98 computers, two printers, and of course an internet DSL connection (via
hub/switch).

Can I set up the mac to see shared windows folders and be able to share data
files, like for MS office suite? What do I do from the Mac end, and
anything special to do from the Windows computers?

Thanks.

It would depend on the mac - if the printers are connected
directly to the new - ie via a nic use ip printing. If u
use mac os x + then you can enable samba and try connecting
via ip addreses. If you are runing old sys then you need
to run a pro server that allows access to appleshare.
