I have a home network with the Desktop (Dell) computer runnning XP Pro
through a Linksys Router. I then have 2 laptops 1 running XP Home and the
other running 98SE. All machines can access the internet, but the laptop
running 98SE is not visible nor accessable on the home network. Any help
would be appreciated.

Without any details of how you've set up the 98SE machine, it's hard
to say what's wrong.

Make sure that:

1. File and Printer Sharing is enabled and is bound to the TCP/IP
protocol.

2. Any firewall program (Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, PC-cillin, etc) is
configured to allow access by other computers on the network. Some
recent antivirus programs, such as Norton Antivirus 2005/2006, have
firewall capabilities built in.

3. Unless they're needed for a specific purpose, such as playing
networked games, remove all other network protocols (NetBEUI,
IPX/SPX). If other protocols are needed, un-bind file and printer
sharing from them on all computers.
