networking windows NT and XP

I am attempting to share a printer that is attached via
USB to my windows XP home computer so that my old Windows
NT 4.0 machine can print to the same printer. My problem
is that the NT machine cannot see the share on the XP
machine, nor can I map to it either.
 
Have you tried to use the network wizard it seems to fix
that problem some times.
 
make sure you do the following

1 - disable the firewall (assuming your PC is not directly connected to the
Internet)
2 - make sure both machines are in the same workgroup name
3 - make sure you have credentials (user name and password) which are
similar on each box
