I am having the same problem that noahc reported on this
newsgroup at 8 am today. I have a desktop and notebook on
a workgroup, both are using Windows XP Home. When I try
to access either computer from the other, I receive a
message that says the network is "..not accessible. You
might not have permission to use the network resource.
Contact the administrator to find out if you have access
permission. The list of servers for this workgroup is
not currently available."

I have administrator permissions on both machines. We
recently installed a FastAccess DLS from Bellsouth, which
included a Netopia router and Bellsouth's software for
DSL service. The documentation and support for these
products is almost nonexistant. Does anyone have any
idea what could be causing this conflict?

Thanks!

Hi Leslie,
You need to have a user account/password the same on both
machines to make this work....amongst others.
Make sure the user account has sufficient access right to
the shared folders/files, especially when you have your
disks in NTFS, shouldn't matter in FAT32

i had same problem...and it turns out all i needed to do was disable my firewall, so make sure that you've done that. after that everything worked fine for me. good luck
