networking problems

i have 2 machines. 1 is a desktop running xp home, the other is a tablet pc
running xp tablet pc edition. the desktop pc connects to a linksys wireless
router via ethernet cable. the tablet pc has a on board wireless card. i want
to network the 2 together. i run the network wizzard on both machins. the
desktop pc cant see the tablet. i get a error when i try to seee comps in my
workgroup sayin you may not have permission to use this feature. it dosn't
even see the tablet. the tablet sees the desktop but cant access it

Your problem has been seen in many forms, and is generally caused by either
misconfigured / overlooked firewalls, or by registry setting restrictanonymous.

Are both computers using the same Workgroup name?

If that doesn't help, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, as a start. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow
