First of all, I appologize for yet another post regarding Windows networking
problems! My problem is that both computers on the network can access the
internet and e-mail but cannot "see" each other, share files and printers or
browse the network.
My setup:
A cable modem is connected to a wireless router/hub. Desktop running
Windows XP home edition is connected to wireless router/hub by wire. Laptop
running Windows Me connected to network via wireless networking card.
Zone Alarm has been shut down on both computers, Windows firewall on XP
machine shut down, and NetBIOS enabled with TCP/IP on both computers.
Each machine can ping the other.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
