Hello:

I will try to be as accurate as I can in my problem so someone can help me.

1 Server and 3 workstations all run XP Home.

Workstations see the server.

Workstations do not see each other.

Server does not see workstations.

Two of the workstations have local printers connected to them. We want the
3rd workstation to see either of the printers.

I tried everything I know and even got a friend of mine who does networking
and he could not figure it out either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, since I don't know what "everything I know" entails, I can't
address any of that specifically. Because you say your workstations are
XP Home, it would seem that you do not have a domain. What operating
system does your server run? A real server operating system? At what
service pack level are all your computers?

XP Home cannot join a domain although it can use domain resources.

It sounds like you have firewall issues. What antivirus and firewalls
are you using on all machines? What error messages do you get?

No domain, just an IP address for each machine.
They are all Dell's and XP is what it is.

Ok

I turned off all firewalls, XP's and McAfee's I think. No actual
reason to run these since not connected to the net.
Can't find path to the workstation with the printer from the
workstation that has no printer. I used the wizard to search for it.
