Networking - no ping

I have 3 computers networked. Just added new comuter. Internet connection
is fine, but sharing files is not working. I can ping other 2 computers from
new computer, but I can't ping itself. All pre existing network functions
between 2 original computers still wok fine.
Any help is appreciated. New computer shows up in network places on other 2
computers, but is not accessible. Network places on new computer is empty
and workgroup computers is not accessible.
 
What OS? Firewall turned on with new PC? IP for new PC in same subnet
as others? Are you sharing anything from new PC?
