networking (LAN DIRECT CONNECTION)

how can i configure 2 PC's so i can connect them through
the LAN card directly without a hub or switch?? what
should be done??
 
You need a cross over cable. This cable connects the transmit wires to the
receive wires on the opposite end. and vice versa.

Both NICs then need a network protocol to run. ( i.e.TCP/IP )

Then a unique logical address needs to be given to each NIC which places
them in the same LAN segment. ( i.e. IP Address )
