networking a win2k and a winxp with a 1394 connection

Anyone had any luck with this? I am stuck at the "Unknown Device" on the
win2k machine.

Thanks in advance.
 
is "Unknown Device" appear on Device Manager after you installed new device?
have u installed all driver for your main board?
 
The unknown device is the Win2k computer, and I get 2 of them:
1) Microsoft PC 1394
2) Nic1394

As soon as I unplug the cable, the unknown devices (yellow question marks)
disappear.
