networking a printer

Hello, I own a desktop pc and a portable, I would like both
of these to print from the same printer. The printer Canon
i560 is connected by usb to the desktop and the notebook
works wireless. How do I configure XP to let the notebook
to print?

Use the "add printer" dialogue and select "Network Printer".
Some printers won't network. (Not sure about Canon).
Lots of info in XP help.

Why not just get a print server? Hawking Technology makes some good
ones. I've used them with great success.
