network with xp home and 2000

trying to add my 2000 laptop to my network. my desktop and other laptop are both on xp home. i cannot figure out how to get my 2000 laptop into the network. any help is appreciated. thanks a lot.

The default network settings in Windows 2000 should work with XP.
Setting the workgroup name to the same name that XP uses will make
networking a little easier.

thanks. i have worgroup name set to same on xp and 2000 machines. and i disable firewalls on all computers, but when i try to view the network on my 2000 laptop, it says "jfg network is not accessible...". i didn't see which article on your link addresses my issue...maybe i missed it.
