Network sudden disconnect

I use XP Pro with a Windows 2003 server. All the Win 2K
machines are fine, but the XP Pro machine after several
hours just 'drops' the network connections. No rhyme or
reason thats obvious. I must logoff and/or restart the
system in order to reconnect. I stay logged in all the
time on this machine. I tried to logoff when it was not
in use but it still disconnects after a few hours. Any
ideas?

Hi I had the same sort of issue without Windows 2003
server, all 2000 servers...

How many DC's do you have in the subnet ? and are there
in time sync.?

Because I ended up with locking down the issue to time
sync problems...
