I checked the language settings in the control panel and it is set to
English, all the other dialog boxes are in English. Any idea what may be
going on?

Hi Josh,

What is the Model Number of the Wireless Adapter from D-Link? Could you
have downloaded the correct Drivers, but in the wrong language?

Hi,
So I am not very good with computers, so forgive me if I am not following
protocol. I have another language question. I am trying to get my computer to
type in chinese characters, but am not sure how to do it. Any helpful hints??

So you post your language question in a thread dealing with network
settings. You definitely ARE "not very good..."!

Leave well enough alone and stay with your original post/thread and
don't hijack someone else's with material that doesn't apply.

There are several language settings in the Control Panel --> Regional
and Language Options. I had my video card drivers set to my second
language once. Took awhile to find my problem. Turned out Control
Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Advanced tab ---->
"Language for non-Unicode programs" was set to my second language. I
uninstalled my video card drivers, change this setting to English and
successfully re-installed my video card drivers in English. ]
This could be your problem also,
