hello

if i try to disable any of the network card i recive a pop up

Error Disabling Connection
It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection
may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it
may have been initiated by another user or the system account.

i try to reset the tcp/ip and it didnt help
i try do it on safe mode and got the same pop up
also try to reinstall the driver

Srfi55,

Wish I could provide answer, but alas I'm in the same boat as you. I've
done same as you as well as followed some of the other recommendations
reported in thread below yours. I await with interest feedback that may help
us both.

On my computer this is caused by installing the XP update KB905474 Windows
Genuine Advantage Notification. (Note: I definitely have a valid XP
install). Solution for me was to use restore to back out of all recent
updates and to re-install all updates except this one.

I also did system restore and dowloaded and "re-installed" outstanding
updates (inc WGA as I have valid copy). This time all OK. Can't expalin why
there was a probalem first time round.
