Network Pro and Home

Got a wireless network between my desktop (running XP Home) and a laptop
(also running XP Home) it works great. Just installed XP Pro on a new PC and
connected it to the wireless network (all using Netgear kit). New PC sees
all but new PC cannot be eccessed by either of the other computors. The icon
apperars when I click on show pc's near me but when I click on it, it askes
for a password. There is no password set up on new PC......Any help please?

By default, XP Pro with Classical File Sharing requires non-blank passwords on
accounts used for file sharing.

Does that mean all I have to do is set up a password for the main user and
that I will have to use that password to access the new PC on the network?

Tez,

If the main user is the one which you have setup for file sharing, then that's
the one that you need to setup with a password (matching password on both
computers). Or you can disable the password requirement (link above).
