Network Places pushed out via login scripts

Hello,
In my network environment at work, we have users who have 10, 15, 20
drive mappings (both from a login script and mapped manually). I would
like to have them start using Network Places instead (arbitrarily many
versus <= 26 for mapped drives). My question is this: is there a way
to automatically push down Network Places via login script like you can
do with drive assignments? It would suck for each user to have to
create the shortcuts manually (or worse, for me to have to do it for
250+ users). TIA.

That's very good.

No. No way. "Network Browsing" is a whole system of "stuff" it isn't
anything you can push anywhere. They already have it anyway,...that's what
the Icon on the desktop is .

Now if you want shortcuts, then those are just files. You can either use
Roaming Profiles or you can just copy valid shortcuts to the Desktop of the
"All Users" Profile on each machine. There are probably other ways too, but
those are what come to mind for me.
