Network path not found error

Javed

I have installed Server 2003 as PDC and Windows Xp on 10 cleints.
When I want to ping a cleint e.g. 192.168.0.4 from server cmd, it shows
the message " request timed out " and when I want to open a cleint "
aaa" from My network places, it shows the message " Network Path Not
found". On the other hand, I can ping PDC from cleint and it can be
opend from My Network Places. Please some one help me to get a solution
of this problum. Also I want to share Internet on both PDC & cleints.
what to do ?

Hi

Are the client machines with Windows SP2, is the firewall enabled?
If yes, make sure that you have the option enabled "File and Print Sharing"
and if you want to ping the computers you must allow incoming echo request
option enabled. "windows firewall -> advanced tab -> ICMP -> Settings -allow
incoming echo request > "

I hop that helps

Good Luck
