In WinXP when I go to Network Neighborhood and view the entire network I see
the listing of computers as:
ComputerDescription(Computer Name)

How can I get it back to the way it was in Win2000 where I just saw 2
columns:
Computer Name Computer Description

Is there a GPO setting so I can make this take effect domain-wide? Thanks!

"Computer description appears before the computer name in the My Network
Places Browse list" http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=824386

GC,

The computer description appears before the computer name in Windows XP:

If you already have SP2 installed, proceed directly to the Registry Edit

"ToggleCommentPosition" REG_DWORD to 1 will change the view from:

Computer Description ( Computer Name )
to
Computer Name ( Computer Description )

Still you'll see the braces.
