NetWork Error unable to request url from host.....

I'm stumped to figure out why my browsers won't allow me to open web site
http://solutions.brother.com
I keep receiving the message " Network Error Unable to request URL from
host solutions.com:80:
Operation timed out "
I'm running WinXPsp2 on a home network of 4 computers, connected thru a
router and a DLS modem.
The funny part is the other 3 computers connect OK 2 running XPPro and one
running Win98.
If I google "solutions.brother.com" its the same thing > times out, however
if I ping the name
"solutions.brother.com" it converts it over to >218.216.182.192 and I get
and avg response
time of 257ms.
Why then won't my browsers open the site http://solutions.brother.com

I goofed the IP # should of read "218.216.182.19 " not 192.

What happens if you paste this in the Address box of IE and click Go??

218.216.182.19

That opens http://218.216.182.19/ for me. Which is Brother Solutions
Center.

recognize http://solutions.brother.com if typed in the browser address
window ???? /

Problem Solved. It was my host file that had a bad entry . I located the
line "solutions.brother.com" and placed a # sign
at its beginning and now it works Ok on all my browsers.
What I wasn't doing was rebooting my machine after making changes in my host
file in Notepad.
