Could anyone please tell me where are the Microsoft 1394 PC driver and the
Microsoft NIC1394 driver located in Windows XP Pro, or could be downloaded?

Microsoft NIC1394 driver located in Windows XP Pro, or could be downloaded?

Windows XP has built-in support for 1394 networking, and there should
be no need to locate or download a driver.

I would like to ensure I have the required drivers prior to purchasing the
compatible hardware.

If you dont already have a 1394 device installed in your system they are
most likely sitting in a .cab file on your system. Even if you dont have
them on your system right this minuete, as soon as you install the device
windows XP will install the 1394 drivers you need.
