Network Centralized Signatures

Second post, so far no answer? There has got to be someone doing this!

So I am running an Exchange 2k3 server with Office 2k3 clients all
encompassed in an AD Network, what I wanted to do was be able to have all my
clients pulling a signature from a centralized template that will pull the
information from their AD Object...

So that basically I would like an XML template or something that links to
the information in the AD and just gets pulled when the users create a new
email.

I would think this is definitely possible but I cannot figure out where any
info on this is?

Generally, this is a server-side function if you truly want to enforce such
signatures; see http://www.slipstick.com/addins/content_control.htm for
various methods and tools for controlling disclaimers and other signatures
from the Exchange server.

To do it on the client side, you could use a COM add-in to query AD and
append a signature, but this gets tricky fast, because you'd have to deal
with all three message formats and Outlook provides no direct way to set
formatted RTF content unless Word is the editor. An alternative client
approach would be to query AD when Outlook or Windows starts and update the
signatures stored in the Signatures folder, three files for the three
formats for each named signature.

This is a real need for sure.
For the time being try saving a users sig files and coping them to the appropriate
directories on login or something similar.
