Thanks for the report !

Myown view of this is that its a false positive from
Spyware Doctor maybe to make people buy the product.

This is a AOL file so I find it hard to understand why
Spyware Doctor would describe it as a Malicious Dialer
Check the properties and you will see "AOL Access
defaults" and something like this under version

Filename: accdef.exe
File Size: 16,496 bytes
Description: AOL Access defaults
Product: America Online
Version: 9.00.001
Company: America Online, Inc.
Language: Language Neutral
Copyright: Copyright (C) America Online, Inc. 1999 - 2004

You can upload the file at Jotti's site if you want a
second opinion

http://virusscan.jotti.org/

But I'm sure the results will be OK & Nothing found for
each Antivirus Vendor, Id advise dumping Spyware Doctor
and sticking with MSAS, Ad-Aware SE, Spybot Search &
Destroy & Ewido as they are more reliable and will remove
junk without making you pay first

Ive just done a quick check with Spyware Doctor on my
test machine and it did great, Detecting no problems on a
clean machine and then when I installed some malware they
were detected in the next scan,

This AOL file is probably just a genuine false positive
and I'm sure they will remove the detection from the
definition files when they realize, Its unfair for me to
say dump it and use more reliable Antispy because all
companies can make mistakes,

I'm always suspicious when a free scan shows a false
positive then says you need to pay to remove the problem
which doesnt exist but I appreciate these False
detections do happen and Spyware doctor looks like a very
capable scanner & remover,

All the best

Andy

Erich Howes has a quite short list of recommended antispyware apps at his
rogue list site. Spyware Doctor is one of the recommended ones. I hate the
name, because there are so many similar bad apps.

For Windoze, counterspy does a very good job. It uses the same definition as
MSAS plus others and it is very similar to MSAS.............except it works.
